Welcome

Hi! Welcome to the official Olivia Leigh Photography blog. This blog was created for several reasons: First of all, for my eager clients to preview their pictures. Secondly, for prospective clients to get to know me and my style better. Thirdly, any blog stalkers out there? I'm one of them. Here's one more blog for you to stalk! And finally, for my own enjoyment. I absolutely love what I do and treasure the opportunity to "journal" about it on here.

Olivia is a photojournalistic, on-location photographer serving the Atlanta, GA and Chattanooga, TN areas. She photographs engagements, high school seniors, children, and various portrait sessions.

Comments make my day. I LOVE comments! So feel free to let me know what you think! If you have any questions be sure to email me. Thanks for stopping by!

Christopher

My wonderful boss, Mrs. Caldwell, has been having a blast over the past two weeks. Her daughter and grandson have been visiting from Germany. Family time is always special, but a visit from so far away is even more exciting! Mrs. Caldwell wanted to capture some fun memories of Christopher at age 3, and asked if I would take some pictures of him while he was here. So, Friday afternoon, Sarah and I headed out to the beautiful home of one of Mrs. Caldwell’s friends. I had a great time watching Christopher’s enthusiasm over the speed with which his truck could zoom up and down the slide. He is such a fun boy! I’ll let the pictures do the talking:

I’m afraid the poor steamroller didn’t get much attention, since the truck was such an impressive piece of machinery…

I think this next image is my favorite from the shoot

LOVE this look he is giving his Mom and Oma. Such mischief in those eyes!

Thanks for the fun time, Amy, Christopher, and Mrs. Caldwell! Have a safe trip home, Amy and Christopher!

More Ariel…

Just too fun to not share!!

Ariel: Winter Wonderland

My super cool friend, Ariel, has been visiting me at Southern this week. We’ve had loads of fun and I’m sad to see her go tomorrow. Friday afternoon, we walked outside and decided to take some fun photos. Ariel was a trooper. The ground was FREEZING (duh, the snow!), but she cooperated, resulting in way amazing pictures! Without further ado, Ariel…

Love you, Ariel! You are beautiful inside and out. Thanks for coming to see me! Hugs!

Merry Christmas from the Weber Family

Well this semester at college completely consumed my life and I did less photography than I have in years. Although I had a blast, I sure did miss doing frequent photo shoots! God has been abundantly blessing our lives. This past summer, we made the move to Calhoun, Georgia and are enjoying our time here. Because of its proximity to Southern, I visit home 2-4 weekends out of the month, which we have all enjoyed. We miss all of your Texas friends, but are loving this new place God has chosen for us.

Our Christmas picture for this year was snapped by one of the framers working on our new house. Thanks, Gilbert! Merry Christmas to all our friends and family!

The Sexson Family

This weekend I am enjoying spending time with my three favorite little girls. Mickynzie, Brenna, and Shaylee (and their two wonderful parents) came from Texas for the week to spend time with my family. Unfortunately, I had to spend the week at school. They did join me for lunch on Tuesday at Southern, and then I came home for a few hours Thursday night to take their pictures and decorate fall cookies with them. I cannot believe how much they have grown since last year’s photoshoot! They are the most beautiful girls in the South (no bias whatsoever) and I love the pictures we got of them. I am so grateful Jesus chose to put them in my life 7 1/2 years ago. There Momma is an amazing best friend and they are the best snugglers, models, and gigglers around! Without further ado…

Thanks for coming to Georgia, Sexsons! So glad you are “part” of our family! Travel safely and come back to see us soon! Love you!
