Alive and Kickin’

Yes, I’m still here. The past week and a half I’ve been in the grand city of Tampa, Florida working with an exciting youth program called Youth for Jesus. Our schedule is jam-packed and I haven’t had any time to blog. God is doing amazing things in Tampa this month and I can’t wait to have more time to share pictures and stories.

Currently, I’m sitting in the Tampa airport waiting to fly to one of my dear friend’s wedding. I’ll be taking pictures for her all weekend and will hopefully get a chance to share with you soon. Hope you all are doing fabulous! Look forward to pictures soon! Blessings!

The Goodwins Come to Town

Late last night four of my favorite people in the world walked through my front door. Two years ago my Aunt Wanda and Uncle Mike adopted a sweet little girl from China. Blu won our hearts the day we met her. Almost one year later the three Goodwins trekked back to China and brought home another fabulous addition to their small family. Caj is so precious and definitely is the ingredient that makes their family complete.

On their way to NM and WA they decided to make a stop at our house. We are THRILLED to get them for a few days! They got her late Wednesday night and will be here until Sabbath afternoon. We’re making the most of the time we have with them and staying busy. Today we started out with some serious playing followed by a visit to the kitty barn. Once the kitties had been held, played with, and given fresh water we were ready to get cooled off inside. David’s old train set was pulled out and enjoyed. Then Mom pulled out the large bubble wand. The girls LOVED the bubbles. Mom and I were hot and tired long before the girls were ready to quit.

Twirly skirts and swimming filled the rest of our day. I’ll share those pictures later but for now I’m going to post pictures from the afore mentioned events. Here are our sweet girls…

Blu casing the kitty situation

Caj was so happy to visit the kitties

It got super hot outside so we made our way inside to play with the trains

Caj and Blu waiting for the bubbles to start flowing

Blu bracing herself for a bubble-attack

Love the energy that exudes from three year-olds

Isn’t this precious?!

Caj was amazed at something going on

This is my favorite picture from the entire day! Such sweet, happy girls!

Blu stopped for a kitty-petting break

Bubble chasing wore Caj out but she was still all smiles

Justin

Justin has been like a brother to me for basically my entire life. His family moved to town when I was three and we’ve all been friends ever since. This next year Justin will be a senior at CTA. Modeling is not his favorite activity but he sure did a great job!!! Here are a few of my favorites:

I love the feel of this one!

Thanks for letting me take your pics Justin! You braved the heat and endured the picture taking. It was a blast hanging out with you and your mom. Congrats on being a senior! Blessings!
