The Sexsons

Spending time with my “little sisters” is always one of the highlights of my visits home. The Sexsons joined our family for Thanksgiving dinner and we followed our meal with a quick photo shoot. I cannot believe how fast the girls are growing up! Here are my adorable girls and their parents.

The girls started off with some good ‘ol cow chasin

Shaylee stopped suddenly as she realized she was running through cow poop. This is the dismayed look we received…

Shaylee is tired of being my little model

My sweet Mickynzie

My Brenna-Monkey

Baby Shaybug

Mickynzie and her gorgeous mother, Kim

Brenna found the only close-by cat so Shaylee joined in the fun by hanging onto Harley’s tail

I love my sweet girls! Have a Happy Thanksgiving, Sexson Family!

The Sandefurs

Yesterday afternoon my Mom and I enjoyed an afternoon with the Sandefurs. The girls are absolutely adorable and we had a blast. I don’t normally share this many pictures, but this is the first shoot my mom and I have done together in many months and there were far too many fun ones. So here is an entire experience of photos for you to enjoy!

This was absolutely hysterical! The girls chased the cows around the pasture in their church dress and church shoes. So much fun to watch!

The girls loved riding in the Ranger from location to location

Kitties, lollipops, and a silly Daddy are good for the soul…

This was my favorite from the whole shoot

Thanks for taking time out of your Holiday season to do these pictures with us, Paul! We love you and your girls so much. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Can’t wait to show you more.

It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas…

Most people wait until the day after Thanksgiving to begin decorating for Christmas. Well… Emily and I aren’t most people. Christmas music started playing mid-October and decorations were purchased the beginning of November. Being the poor college students that we are, we decided to be as frugal possible while at the same time being as creative as possible. We purchased a square, wooden crate with plans to fill it with red berries (my favorite holiday decoration), evergreen branches, and pine cones. Twenty four styrofoam balls were purchased along with gobs of bright colored sequins and silver pins. We settled on the next to the smallest tree and several boxes of lights. Ornaments have been worked on for the last several weekends and our basket was completed on a Sunday morning walk. Last night we got all the lights up and plugged them in. Our room turned out better than either of us had hoped it would. It is so cozy! We can’t wait for Christmas!

Princess Belle Turns 1

One year ago today, my cousin Ryan and his wife Elisabeth welcomed a beautiful little bundle into their family. Isabelle is bubbly, adorable, and the epitome of joy. This past Sunday I was able to take a short break from homework to photograph the beginning of her 1st birthday party. The children were darling and the activities entertaining. Here is a little taste of our fun afternoon:

Little Miss Cassie joining in on the picture taking

Miss Sophia and her captivating blue eyes

Ava Grace is not too sure about the big, black lens aimed her way

Most of the kiddos piled on the couch for a group photo

Table Decorations

After everyone ate, the children raced outside for a toy scavenger hunt

My other cousin’s precious little girl, Lily. She’s the most huggable baby!

Another beautiful little Lily hunting for “treasure”

The festivities continued with cake and presents, but alas college life (aka homework) called me away from the fun. The party was great fun and the children were all adorable. It was great to be able to join in the good times, even if only for a while. Happy Birthday, precious Belle!

Little Miss Anisa

When I went over to the Parker’s house for our photo shoot, little Miss Anisa was there for a play date. I took advantage of having another little cutie around and snapped a few photos of her. I absolutely love the photos we got of her. Here are the best ones:

Thanks Lori and Anisa! It was so nice to meet you both.
