My Girls

There are many things I will miss about Texas. These three are at the top of my list…

I love you, girls!

Summer Fun: Marski Style

Our life has turned chaotic as of late. Well, okay, I guess it’s been chaotic. Yesterday, the home inspector came and today the packing company came and started the crazy process of moving a family that’s lived in one state for 33 years. Yikes. Me being the crazy person I am, however, still found time to photograph one last Texas family. Last night, the Marski family came to our house for an energy-filled photoshoot. The kiddos are adorable! After playing in the beautiful flower field, we had some real fun splashing around in a big washtub. I am thrilled with the results. Warning: Once again, Mom and I had too many favorites! Here are are the favorites…

Erik played an energetic game of Peek-a-Boo with me

Here is just a small peek into the wild fun we had in the water… I LOVE this picture. Kammy, this is the story of your life at this point. Always surprising, always exciting. Never a dull moment!

And here’s another one I adore. Elena had a blast dunking her head in the water to get a mouth full, popping up, and showering everything within her reach.

I love Elena’s laugh in this picture! And Erik’s look of mischief makes me smile…

Ethan’s mouth was bothering him throughout the shoot. Right as Eder leaned in to kiss him, he stuck his tongue out. Love it!

Talk about adorable kids…

And more of Ethan’s tongue… This is probably my favorite of him from the entire shoot.

Erik and Elena had some very fun, practiced silly faces to show me

This one is SO Erik. He was hyper from the lollipop we gave him and having tons of fun in the water. Another favorite…

I caught this favorite right as we were headed inside…

Wow, Marskis! What a fun family God has blessed you with. I hope you love these photos as much as I do! Thanks for allowing me to capture your family in action. Blessings as you raise these little ones for Jesus!

Caleb

As I mentioned in my previous post, Caleb was my very first Calhoun shoot. He will be a senior this coming school year and I am so glad I got to take his pictures. Caleb loves to be outside. We took his pictures at and around a private lake he fishes at frequently. Here are a few of my favorites from our photoshoot:

While we were taking the pictures, Caleb’s Dad and sister got out fishing poles and started playing around. It about killed Caleb to hear them catching fish without him, so before we left he ran (literally) and picked up a pole to cast a few times. I love these pictures because they capture him doing what he loves…

Caleb’s family came along on the shoot. They are super cool people and made the shoot so much fun. Here at the end of the shoot after I told him we were finished he made this face at his waiting family. His Mom said he was constantly making silly faces in pictures when he was little, so I love that we captured such a great one for his senior pictures.

Caleb, congratulations on making it to your last year of highschool! Enjoy every minute of it. Thanks again for being yourself for these great pictures! Blessings!

Caleb: A Sneak Peek

“What are the biggest differences that you’ve noticed between Georgia and Texas?” Caleb’s mom Amy asked us as we drove to the location for our photo shoot. While we have noticed many things we will miss about Texas and found many things to love about Georgia already, one thing they have in common is amazingly friendly and genuinely kind people. Mom, Dave, and I have been visiting Dad for nearly a week and will be moving here to Calhoun after packing in Texas for a week. Our experience thus far has been wonderful. Caleb, the son of my Dad’s co-worker Amy, will be a senior this coming school year. His shoot was my very first in Georgia and was a great way to start things off. Mom and I had a great time getting to know him and his family this afternoon. I plan to post several more photos tomorrow, but couldn’t wait to share these. I had planned to share only one as a preview, but my family loved them both so much we could not decide which one to leave out. So here are two of our favorites…

Caleb LOVES to fish. He spent 8 hours this last Sunday fishing at this lake. Hence the reason we love this picture…

It was so much fun getting to know you a little better, Jordons! Thank you for making our welcome to Calhoun extra nice. Hope you enjoy these pictures as much as we have been! Blessings!
