Pigeon Forge 2010: Thursday

Thursday was our last full day of fun in Pigeon Forge. We decided to head to Gatlinburg for the day since that had been our original plan. When we got there, we stopped at the Visitor Center to see what there was to do in Gatlinburg. Snow Tubing was the majority vote. None of us had come prepared to play in the snow, but this was too grand an adventure to pass up.  We headed up the mountain, rented bibs on Dad’s insistence, and headed out to the snow hill. Temple was the only one who decided not join us (other than the parentals) and she took all this pictures. The rest of the pictures were taken by me (unless I’m in them, obviously). We had a blast!!! I’ll let the smiles on our faces do the talking…

Getting ready for some Snow Tubing!

Karie was excited to hit the snow…

Riding the snow-tube lift

Ready, Set, GO!!!!

Once we were finished Snow Tubing, we headed back into town for some food. We were STARVING. Some former Southern graduates who were snow tubing with their children and recommended this yummy pizza restaurant to us

Tasty!

We were all a little cold, tired, and STUFFED when we finished eating. The boys went to race Go-Carts, but we girls headed back to the cabin for some relaxing. We hot tubbed, ate, played games, watched an Andy Griffeth, and hit the sack for the last time in the cabin. Another rewarding, memory-filled day for the books…
